Dimas Sandya, was born 27 years ago. Currently, he is joining Indonesia Teaching Movement as sustainability engagement officer.
Apart from his profesional life, he likes to travel and write. His huge interest in visiting
and enjoying new places has brought himbunch of experiences. Those experiences have enlightened his life in
many ways. For him, to travel is simply to get new stories, new lesson learned of life.
Since 2010-2013, he became Oxfam Action Partners and joined the
Kaleidoscope event in New Delhi, India, where he found his passion in
people. He wants to devote the rest of his age to the people in needs for a
better future, better Indonesia. Then, he decided to become a
volunteer teacher in the Indonesia’s most remote area for a year.
According to his experience
as young teacher, we are all created for a reason. One should find his/her own purpose
of life.
The best person in the world is the one whose
existence is benefiting others. Even the smallest one, even just a simple but
sincere smile. He believes that is the only way to make our life become a
blessing.
